If you have a sense of humour this is a must have dvd ,rab his wife mary doll and his wee bairns are superb, along with his best mate jamsie cotter and his drinking pals and associates this makes very funny viewing.Gregory fisher plays a loveable hard drinking glaswegian who will stop at nothing to avoid work or to conform to normal behaviour .Set in govan glasgow it portrays its downtrodden residents as a lazy funny and hardrinking bunch of social missfits.

i remember watching this as a kid and i loved it,and now it has been released on dvd everyone who likes it can relive all the classic episodes and rab moments

Rab C. Nesbitt Is Brilliant. Nearly Every Episode Is Great. I Had Got The Rab C. Nebitt DVD's Series1-5 And The Christmas Specials Separate. When This This Boxset Came Out I Was Angry, But I Sold The Other DVD's And Got This. It Would Be Better If They Brought Out A Complete Boxset With All The 8 Series Including The Christmas Specials. I Suppose This Is The Closest You Will Get To A Complete Boxset. Buy This Boxset, Series 6-8 Boxset And The Christmas Special 'Seasonal Greet' And You Have The Lot. If You Are A Fan Of Scottish Comedy Then You Will Love This. Oh Yeah And One More Thing "Beat It!".
