This Belkin's newest Hub has a low-profile design specifically engineered to stack on top of or below the Mac mini-helping to organize and save your valuable desktop space. The Hub provides four downstream USB ports compatible with both Hi-Speed USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 (low- and full-speed) devices. It also features two FireWire ports to connect up to two of your FireWire devices. A single USB and a FireWire port are located on the front of the Hub to give you easy access for quick, temporary connections of USB thumb drives, media readers, small accessories such as the Apple iPod and iPod shuffle, and more.

There are two things you need to know -

1.There are NOT two firewire ports on it despite what the description says , that`s the more expensive model.

2.The usb connection lead , obviously meant for plugging into a mac mini is short , really really short , like plug it into an imac and laugh as the front of the hub just about touches the desk underneath , while its a** is up in the air short.
For anything other than a mac mini , you`re going to need a usb extender lead.
Luckily I had one.

Other than those two points the hub looks nice and appears to do its job just fine - it`s difficult to get excited about a hub in all honesty.
I did manage to for a short period while I played where`s the two firewire ports though. ;)
