what a good picture on this Tv i was watching Blu-ray movies on it and it looked fantastic, The ps3 looks very good also. this tv supports 1080i which for the price is very good for a 42" plasma when i was looking in other shop nothing could touch this tv for the price, this is a good tv for your first HDTV
