This SFP (Small Form-factor Plug-in, mini-GBIC) transceiver supports one 1000BASE-LX connection. This SFP transceiver can be used to populate the 24 ports in a 3Com Switch 4070 (3C17707) or the 4 ports in a 3Com Switch 3824 (3C17400) or Switch 3812 (3C17401), and can be mixed and matched with other SFP transceivers to provide exceptional media flexibility.
