I bought a pda from Ebay and purchased the Caddyaid software. The pda needs to run microsoft operating system and have access to a resonably fast bluetooth gps. The program and the free course provided loaded without any effort. I had to order my first course which was ready in just a couple of days. It performs brilliantly giving the information required for each hole: distances to front and back of green and ditches and bunkers. The interface is just a few buttons - but these are all you need. You can zoom out on the holes and play the holes manually from the comfort of your armchair - the wife will never know.

For the money ( extra holes cost £5 )the pleasure I've had and the confidence knowing the distance gives you - its worth it. Ps go to their web site.
