Review by Ted on 23/04/2008 Rating: 4 / 5 like this machine, but the spin cycle unbalanced load protection seems to be arbitrary, sometimes it will spin sometimes it wont. from new four different loads just would not spin, had to wring it all out by hand, called the engineer and guess what ? it worked, then after they'd gone the next load ? yep not spinning again! Review by michelle on 02/08/2008 Rating: 1 / 5 please do not buy this machine, i bought one just today and it just will not spin, no matter how much i fill it as apparrently it will only spin if your load is full, not true as i have put really full loads in and it wont spin. cant wait to send it back tomorrow!
Haier, yes im tearing mine out!!! Review by Joanne on 11/08/2008 Rating: 2 / 5 I wished I had read these reviews before buying my Haier washing machine as I wouldn't have bothered buying it. The spinning cycle is `ruled by the moon' sometimes it works and most times it doesn't - What with the unpredictable british weather and not being able to hang the wet through washing out the stress factor is off the scale. I dread looking at the control panel when it has finished to see if the `unb' is showing. My advice DO NOT BUY!! They are having to change the computer boards in them on a daily basis. After mine had been changed i then had to have a new pump. The machine is only a few weeks old and has minimum use. I would not buy until the problem with the spin has been rectified. Also the engineer informed me that if the bearings go the machine is a write off as it is not worth the time and expense of repairing it.
